KIM PATRICK MURRAY, MD

I am incredibly passionate about the nose.

In fact, I have dedicated my professional career to the study and mastery of this fascinatingly beautiful and complex structure.

Noone appreciates the value of an attractive nose more than I do.

The nose is the centerpiece of the face.

Changing the nose completely upgrades someone’s look – the way they are perceived, their success in life, their sense of self-esteem, etc.

This is an incredibly rewarding experience. I’m truly blessed to have the opportunity to have such a positive impact on the lives of others.

I take on each and every case with an understanding of this great potential and a burning desire to maximize your result.

“The Nose You Should Have Been Born With”

I aim for a natural look that corrects the things you don’t like about your nose, but with an overlying aesthetic design that blends harmoniously with the rest of your facial features.

I like to call this “aggressive beauty”.

Achieving the nose of your dreams requires a committment to a structured preoperative process:

1. careful questioning and listening to your desires, likes, and dislikes

2. analyzing your unique starting point

3. visualizing and simulating the result, confirming our shared goal

4. developing a precise surgical blueprint as to what techniques can achieve the desired aesthetic changes

You can read more on the preoperative process or see how the rhinoplasty photo simulations work. My blog also has a great deal of useful information.

My current surgical practice is limited to the full extent of nasal and sinus surgery for breathing and cosmetic purposes. I have been operating over 6 years in private practice and 12 years now including residency. I perform hundreds of nasal surgeries and procedures per year.

I am certainly proud of my credentials. However, artistic vision isn’t something that is taught in medical school or residency. It takes a keen sense of aesthetics and an unrelenting desire to achieve perfection, however impossible that may be.

In particular, I do not feel it is appropriate to judge cosmetic surgeons based on:

  • Awards such as being voted “Doctor of the Year” by some publicity firm which accepts payments from doctors
  • “Top Doctor” status based on things such as number of questions answered and not surgical results
  • TV and magazine appearances also usually arranged by PR firms

I wrote an article about “Things NOT to consider when choosing a plastic surgeon” in case you want even more juicy detail.

All of these things are just ultimately just marketing and sometimes even smokescreen. Surgeons should be judged on results first and foremost and then bedside manner / customer service secondly. Also see “Things to look for in a Rhinoplasty Surgeon”.

"Dr. Murray was able to achieve (and nailed) the look I was looking for and made it look natural, complementing my facial features."

"My new nose looks exactly like the photo he originally photoshopped to show me the final goal."

"If I knew how big of a change it made back then, I would have done it sooner."

"Dr. Murray is a World Class Rhinoplasty period. Period! His attention to detail and level of perfectionism truly sets him apart from the other so called experts I consulted with."

"Dr. Murray is an excellent young surgeon with something that very few have in his field: INTEGRITY."

"Dr. Murray didn't only fix my nose he fixed my biggest insecurity and for that I can never thank him enough!"

"He answers all your questions in a way you will understand, and if he has to explain again he will do it until you get it."

"I had a Revision Rhinoplasty with Dr. Murray and I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new nose."

"I can still remember my first breath a week after surgery when all the bandages were removed. It was the most amazing feeling of my life!"

"The pictures below speak for themself."

"Dr. Murray made sure I was confident and comfortable throughout the entire process and truly listened to what I wanted from the procedure."

"I absolutely love the outcome. It's better than I could have ever expected."

"Calculo que mi respiracion ha mejorado a un 90% y falta tiempo de recuperacion."

"All of the follow up appointments were free of charge, no hidden fees, and Dr. Murray takes close care in monitoring your progress as he takes great pride in his work."

Reviews should not be the sole aspect of judging doctors, as they can be misleading in either a positive or negative sense. That said, I think that it is important to not only see previous results but to read the personal stories of previous patients and their journeys. Many of them are incredibly inspiring as well.

I am proud to be a 5-star Facial Plastic Surgeon across most of the common review sites. I thank my wonderful patients for taking the time to write about their experience and to “pay it forward” in helping other patients navigate the process.
